As a professional Researcher, the main goal of my research is to understand how scientific processes are responsible for producing the interactions and measurements observed in the experiments and projects I work on. I use a combination of approaches and technologies specially developed for use in my studies. Learn more about my research and areas of study below.
My Research Interest
Arynes and Donor-Acceptor Cyclopropanes are highly strained intermediates (strain energy of aryne is 63 kcal/mol and donor-acceptor cyclopropane is 27.5 kcal/mol). These intermediates are used for 1,2-bisfunctionalization or 1,3-bisfunctionalization respectively for long time. Using this strain energy as a driving force we want to use these intermediates for the synthesis of various natural products and important drug molecules. Also, we are interested to synthesize new molecules having molecular diversity and structural complexity using these intermediates.
